Last night's 4-3 loss to the hapless Nationals (no hap, we checked) was decided by a blown call on what should have been a 3-run homer by Chase Utley. The loss dropped the Philberts a game behind the Dodgers in the race for the N.L. Wild Card, with five to play.
In related news, Oklahoma University president David Boren, who insisted that the Sooners would not play the Nationals until he was assured that the game would be played using NY-Penn League officiating.
