There have been few, if any, better ambassadors for baseball than Buck O'Neil. If you're at all a fan of the game, send good thoughts his way, as the 94-year old O'Neil is in the hospital with exhaustion. In the meantine, here's a transcript of his interview for Ken Burns' Baseball documentary.
Why this man is not in the Hall of Fame is beyond me.
